OHNO!……

waluigi

So after about a year and 4 months, my friend Matias from work is leaving. Best known for his Mario Kart DS Waluigi antics, the lunchtime battles in my office where you could hear “oh yeah!” belt out of his DS speakers everytime he passed or knocked you out with a blue shell. He will surly be missed, since after all he started but mere days after I did if I remember corectly. A solid SMB player, tetris guru and metal head, the boy could out steeze most people on a bad day, nevermind the fact that his awsome music collection kept me bumpin nonstop. In short you’ll be missed but not forgotten, I’m sure I’ll see you online SMK style and might give you a thumpin in luigis mansion.

to the birdman jr.! bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp!

Brands you would work for….

Day to day I work on some similar brands, matter of fact they are basically 100% automotive and even then I’m down to a few brands I deal with exclusively if you will.

Being a person of constant change my mind gets going on what it would be like to work on some “dream clients” every designer has them, their top tier clients they would perhaps lay a portion of their body and soul down for some quality design time. Some of mine are as follows.

on a scale of 1 to 10….

I just spent a total of 14, hours at the office today. This all stops train ride is brutal. I think im a work-a-holic. Im vaguely tired but im not even ready to crash yet… kinda feels like college with so much work to do…

tomorrow should be another long day, hopefully all this work pays off and we geta site thats something new for us and hopefully opens some doors as to pushing the envelope..

but so far my life is rubbish ….

and another one…..

to quote the late great biggie would suit her no finer
a writer she was, a word smith, a word miner
tricky she was with the MSN one-liner
bud was her beer of choice and it always made her wiser

mad’s was a work friend, one of the best you could have
that coffe time buddy, that lunchtime lass
and tho shes gone off in a taxi i’ll miss her all the same
until we meet again in this advertising game.

holler!

So long partner….

I’m both bummed and happy today, my major writing partner is leaving MMDI for something new.

Having only been here 8 months I spent many a project working with my neighbor Alex. Sure not prolly as tight with her as I got with past working buddies I had at helios, where over the course of 2-3 years I worked pretty much beside and with the same person day in and day out. None the less I think we had a good time slaying Impalas in the savannahs of Georgia and dropping pucks in the name of addictive game play.

At an agency level she was pretty much the first writer I had the pleasure of ever working with I have to say that she will be missed, both for witty copy and a savvy shoe sense.

If she ever reads this then….

Al-ex, I wish you nothing but the best, you were great while you were here and everybody from the crew will miss ya.

cheers!
