treo photography
so I got myself a new toy. picked up a treo 650 as my phone for the next few years, at the same time I switched wireless carriers, from rogers to bell.
above is a photo montage of how I spend 90% of my weeknights, with laptop infront of the tele. more on the treo later
so tonight when we stopped by the shop, I picked up new wheels, bearings and trucks. First set of new hardware in about 10 years, I have a give er’ deck from perception that i designed. SO I decided to give skateboarding another shot. Additionally Greg hooked jen up with some new NIKE SB High Hairs, and I got me some fresh ipaths

After Effects 7.0
Its installing on my work machine right now. We’ll see how it goes, hopefully I can still run 6.5 in the meantime.
**update #1**
G5 was acting wonky during additional plugin-installs, so I figured a re-boot was in order, machine now has a black screen with some white text. yay.
**update #2**
Warren and I spent the afternoon running diskwarrior on my G5, only to have DW crash right at the end, so we repaired permissions and hoped that fixed the problem, which it didn’t. So I left the office not knowing if we would have to do a full re-build of my machine (which would suck) hopefully I dont loose any data. More info tomorrow.

Its the next day, my G5 is POOCHED. I’m currently using the blazing fast speeds of firewire to transfer stuff from my box to an external drive.

Never Trust a Hippy
I remember the 9th or 10th grade when I watched my first snowboarding video, Stickin’ in my eye was the first track of the video. I swear we watched that intro close to 200 times both for the riding content and the song. Pretty much since then I’ve enjoyed the music of NOFX. Sometimes quite funny I always find great pleasure in listening to the lyrics of the songs. Recently they released a 5 song EP called never trust a hippy, simply great. You should think about picking it up if your into NOFX at all. Rocking on ipod right now.
